A Sketch of John McCain
Based on McCain's recent electoral actions, it would be extremely easy to cast him as cynical, manipulative, and far more concerned with winning the election than with competent. If Barack Obama doesn't use this to his advantage, shame. Examples:
*Picks a VP candidate clearly designed to win over bitter Clinton supporters and Christian righters at the same time - an idea that sounds so crazy it just might work, but really is just crazy - without even properly vetting her (aside from her teenage baby factory, she also has a habit of putting her foot in her mouth, and she hasn't even started to campaign! (Plus there's this)
*Hires people who aggressively sank his campaign with shady tactics in 2000 to do dirty work for him now.
*Surrogate proclaims This election is not about issues".
So there you go. In addition to being out of touch with modern American life, McCain is also more interested in his own power than in making sure America has quality governance that is even in keeping with its populace's values. Wow, that was easy. Why exactly have we not won yet?
